  20. ---------------

  22. Welcome to ClickArt.
  23. The ClickArt brand was developed in the mid-1980s to bring 
  24. you quality clip art that is fun, diverse, and easy to use. 
  25. In 1996, we became a part of Broderbund Software, Inc., 
  26. which develops, publishes, and markets a broad line of 
  27. award-winning interactive software for use in homes, 
  28. schools, and small businesses. The ClickArt product line 
  29. offers thousands of options for you to choose from when 
  30. creating cards, newsletters, labels, and more! Additionally, 
  31. ClickArt images can be used with a variety of desktop 
  32. publishing applications. We are pleased that you purchased 
  33. this ClickArt product and are confident that you will enjoy 
  34. using it as much as we enjoyed making it.

  38. 2. Installation Instructions
  39. ----------------------------

  43. To Install:
  44. - Begin at the Windows 95/98 desktop.
  45. - Insert the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
  46. - The ClickArt Business Graphics startup window will appear. 
  47. - Click the Install button and follow the on-screen
  48.   instructions to install the program.
  49.      
  50. If the ClickArt Business Graphics startup window does not 
  51. appear automatically on screen, you can install the program 
  52. manually:
  53. - Click the Start button on the taskbar and choose Run. 
  54. - Type D:\SETUP.EXE in the line labeled Open. (If your
  55.   CD-ROM drive uses a letter other than D, substitute that 
  56.   letter for D.)
  57. - Click the OK button and follow the on-screen instructions
  58.   to install ClickArt Business Graphics.
  59.      
  60. To Run:
  61. If the ClickArt Business Graphics startup window does not 
  62. appear automatically on screen:
  63. - Begin at the Windows 95/98 desktop.
  64. - Click the Start button, point to Programs, then
  65.   ClickArt, and then to Business Graphics.
  66. - Click the CompuPic Image Browser menu item to start the 
  67.   browser.

  69. To Remove:
  70. - Begin at the Windows 95/98 desktop.
  71. - Click the Start button, point to Settings, and 
  72.   then click Control Panel.
  73. - Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. 
  74. - Click the Install/Uninstall tab and select ClickArt 
  75.   Business Graphics from the list of programs.
  76. - Click the Add/Remove button and then click the Yes button
  77.   to remove the program. Click OK to clear the screen.

  81. 3. Troubleshooting

  84. If you have any trouble running the installer, please do the 
  85. following:
  86.  - Exit all applications.
  87.  - Run ScanDisk on your system.
  88.  - Run Disk Defragmenter (Defrag) on your system.
  89.      
  90. Both of the utilities listed above are included with DOS and 
  91. Windows 95/98.

  94. If you are having trouble changing an image through the 
  95. Image/ Convert menu, try going to the File menu and 
  96. selecting Revert.

  99. If you receive and error message when saving an image as a 
  100. cursor (.cur) file, resize the image to cursor size before 
  101. saving the file.
